Healing the Wounded Heart

June 23, 2021 @ 8:00 am - June 24, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

Virtual Training
June 23 – 24 and June 30 – July 1
1-5 pm (ET), 12-4pm (CT), 10-2pm (PT)

Healing the Wounded Heart is a six-session small group trauma training for ministers to the incarcerated. This training will prepare ministers to lead small groups of incarcerated persons in learning how to respond to their life trauma.

This program is a new Catholic version based on the book, Healing The Wounds of Trauma: How The Church Can Help. This adaptation for prisoners will allow ministers to reflect on their own experiences and responses to trauma, while integrating principles of mental health and Catholic spirituality.
