World Day of the Sick Prayers

On this World Day of the Sick, we pray for all people who are injured, ill, and suffering.  We pray for all the medical personnel that dedicate their lives to helping care for the ill.  We pray for all who serve in the medical field who daily care for patients and provide them with a healing presence.  We pray for the families of those who are ill, give them the perseverance to care for their loved ones. Fill us with the strength and humility to meet the sick, injured, ill and hurting where they are at, and reflect the hope that God has promised to be for us.  Amen
