Last month JAMA published the paper, “Spirituality in Serious Illness and Health” by Tracy Balboni and colleagues. The paper is one of the most important contributions to the literature about religion/spirituality (R/S) and health of the past twenty years. In this webinar we review key information about the research in the paper and its recommendations for clinical practice. We will also discuss ways that spiritual care managers and practitioners can use the paper to strengthen the integration of spiritual care in their organizations.
