Program Information:
As Spiritual Care Professionals we are committed to compassionate service to staff, caregivers, clinicians and family members. In all of this generous giving we are exposed to stress, trauma and end-of-life in all its forms. We know within ourselves compassion exhaustion. This educational opportunity will focus on serving and supporting patients and ourselves without being torn down by these acts of service.

Program of Events:

  • 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. Registration/ Light Breakfast/Fellowship
  • 9:00 – 9:15 a.m. Opening Reflection
  • 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. Session 1
  • 10:15 – 10:30 a.m. Refreshment break
  • 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Session 2
  • 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Lunch (provided), Sacred Encounter
  • 12:15 – 2:30 p.m. Small groups & reflective activity
  • 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. Summary of content …Closing Ritual… Blessing

 

A $20 participant fee will cover breakfast, lunch, and the program. 5 CEH’s are offered.
