Submitting articles to Vision
Vision, the newsletter of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, seeks researchers, academics and writers to contribute to our chaplaincy conversation. Specifically, we seek writers for two sections of Vision: Seeking, Finding and the Research Update.
• Seeking/Finding: This regular column is meant to provide theological reflection. The form and content vary, but often focus on the vision of chaplaincy — from the inside out — sharing with others our reflections, concerns and hopes. Contact David Lewellen, Vision editor, at dlewellen@nacc.org.
• Research Update: This regular column is meant to present new research on pastoral care to our readers. Articles often focus on the craft of chaplaincy — from the outside then inward — looking objectively at the “nuts and bolts” of our ministry. Contact Austine Duru, research advisor, at gusduru@yahoo.com.
The editor may assist with the creative process. Articles will be edited for readability and clarity. Our format requires us to limit text to about 1,700 words; any bibliography is limited to the most relevant resources, usually six in number. We cannot guarantee publication or offer any remuneration. Contact our Vision editor, David Lewellen, at
dlewellen@nacc.org with any questions about how you may submit and write for publication.
