State Liaison Description

Rationale

  • Over the recent past, since the formal regional structure ended, some local attempts have been made by chaplains to continue convening for professional development and support. These gatherings are few, but they are diverse and offer examples of how future gatherings might occur.
  • State Liaisons are one way of helping NACC connect chaplains with each other and the NACC office and/or aid in their coordinating local/regional events.

    1. Keeps members informed of new members and member events
    2. Determines state needs for calls/gatherings
  • Coordinates intrastate or interstate events
    1. Ensures state representation in interstate events
    2. Enlists planners for events as desired
