Program Summary
These audio conferences will look at the idea of interdisciplinary care and the ideal of transdisciplinary care. The first session will look at definitions, differences, the chaplain’s role in bringing about the reality of these types of care as well as the qualities a chaplain must bring to the inter/transdisciplinary table. In session two we will examine examples of cases in which the chaplain took the key role in patient care.
About the Presenter
Linda F. Piotrowski, M.T.S., BCC is a long time member of NACC. She serves as the pastoral care coordinator and chaplain for the palliative care service at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Linda is a frequent contributor to Vision as well as an author of several book chapters and journal articles. Linda was awarded Advocacy Honors by the City of Hope’s ACE program for her work in advocating for excellence in palliative care.
