Sleeping Room Information

To help you prepare for the retreat, please see below for important information about each of the sleeping room options.

Conference Center Lodging

Arrival Entrance/Parking

  • Entrance to campus is located on Route 45. (Map showing entrance and parking).
  • All parking is located in the Purple Parking Lot. Shuttle services may also drop guests off in the Purple Parking Lot.
  • Once in the Purple Parking Lot, park (drop off) at the South End, near the ramp which leads to the Conference Center buildings.
  • Follow the ramp from the Purple Parking Lot, at the end of the ramp, you will go into the building on the left (Conference Center Lodging, Building E) to check in at the Front Desk for your room.

Lodging Information

  • Check-in time is at 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive early, your luggage may be stored in the Conference Center Living Room until check-in time.
  • Check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Please ensure to return your keys in order to avoid a key fee of $150 per set.
  • If an early check-in or late check-out is needed, an additional room fee may apply.
  • Conference Center Lodging is open from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm; doors to the Lodge are locked at 9:00 pm.
  • For those arriving outside of these hours, upon arrival guest should call the USML Public Safety at 847-970-4815. Public Safety will open the Lodge and direct the guest to the registration desk. The guest’s key will be at the registration desk in an envelope labeled with the guest name.
  • During your stay, please ensure that you carry your room keys with you at all times. Your room keyring will provide you access to the Lodge at all times.
  • Your room will have a bed(s), desk/chair, floor lamp and comfortable chair, private bathrooms, and free wi-fi.
  • Towels are provided, but guests should bring their own toiletries and hair dryer. Courtesy ones are available at the Front Desk should a guest forget these items.
  • Iron & board is available for guest use in the 1st Floor Laundry room.
  • Access to the Conference Center Living Room is available to all guests to read, relax and converse. The Conference Center Living room also houses a television, two computers, printer as well as a 24-hour complimentary beverage bar, which includes coffee, teas, soda and water available for guests.
  • Quiet Hours for the Lodge and Meeting Hall are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Lodging Information

  • 4 miles from USML Conference Center
  • Shuttle service between Doubletree and USML Conference Center offered by the NACC; Shuttle will run once in the morning and evening (Thursday and Friday) and once in the morning (Saturday), if travel outside of the scheduled times is needed it will be the participants responsibility to secure transport (e.g. Uber)
  • Shuttle schedule:
    • Thursday, June 1 Depart Doubletree @ 7:15 am
    • Thursday, June 1 Depart USML @ 8:15pm
    • Friday, June 2 Depart Doubletree @ 7:30 am
    • Friday, June 2 Depart USML @ 8:30 pm
    • Saturday, June 3 Depart Doubletree @ 7:30 am
