Making all Things New: Co-creation, Transformation, Resilience and Hope
The 2016 conference theme calls each of us to recognize that we are not passive observers but responsible passionate partners in making this world a better place. We are called to move beyond what we know and to be open to the new learning and research that is taking place in the areas of spirituality and health care. We are called to search within and find our resilient self that goes on each day as we face the suffering and despair of those we minister to. We are called to be instruments of hope to those individuals who are faced with those ethical questions that will determine the way they want to live a quality life to the end. As we introduce the 2016 plenary speakers, join with the national conference task force in anticipating how each of these speakers will illustrate how we as chaplains and as an association can have hearts on fire as we join together in making all things new.
