Overview: While our world was thrown into unprecedented times and suffering, we also experienced amazing resiliency, and inspired pastoral compassion throughout this tumultuous and challenging year. This Day of Reflection will give us time to pause and recognize, and attend to, much of what we endured and grieved in our roles as ministers. We will explore the significance of tending to our own body, mind and spirit in light of all that we navigated this year. Retreatants will have time for prayer, self-reflection, guided meditation, and engaging conversation.
We will break open Scripture passages that offer us deeper insight into the incarnation of God within our encounters with His people and within ourselves. We will also reflect on the ministry of interruptions, and how God breaks into our world through planned and unplanned encounters, as we recognize the graces ever present to us in this ministry.
