State liaisons provide energy, wisdom, and focus
March 16, 2009: During this past week, 47 state liaisons met on three conference calls to review and provide feedback on materials to support their efforts, to provide more ideas on how the NACC staff can help them, to share experiences and ideas for local gatherings, and to inform one another of their plans for 2009. While they seek to learn what other educational offerings are being planned for their area, they rely on all of us to alert NACC to events that can be beneficial to members. Please see below for a summary of their discussions.

We want the NACC members of each state to select a State Liaison to fulfill three functions: connect state chaplains to the national office and one another; lead communication with/among state NACC members; and facilitate the coordination of intrastate/interstate events. At the 2008 Conference, members were seated by state and invited to discuss and choose a state liaison. Most states recommended members for that role. Thanks to those who volunteered!
We are currently seeking liaison(s) for North Carolina.
Please email cbridges@nacc.org if interested in being a
