Update—Symposium 2002. Plans are underway for Comprehensive Spiritual Care for Our Sick and Dying: A National Pastoral Strategy, which will be held in eight locations across the country next fall.
Certification interview dates announced for spring 2002. Certification interviews will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 4 and May 18, 2002. To request an interview, candidates must send a written request to the Director of Professional Practice before February 15, 2002. Documents must be sent to the Director of Professional Practice by March 1, 2002.

American Cancer Society recognizes Kathleen Brady, OP. Sister Brady received the Lane W. Adams Award for Excellence in Caring from the American Cancer Society on June 8, 2001.
Sister Marie Hunkler, OSB, blessed as prioress. Sister Hunkler was elected and installed as the 9th prioress of Sacred Heart Monastery, Richardton, North Dakota this spring.
