The NACC and the “brave new world” of genetics by Richard M. Leliaert, OSC, PhD. Father Leliaert writes that the ethical and spiritual challenges of the human genome project are facing us in our work as chaplains and will do so for decades to come. He announces that the NACC has become a member of the National Coalition for Health Professional Education in Genetics (NCHPEG).

Sister Clara Vogelpohl receives congregation’s highest honor. Sister Vogelpohl, retired pastoral care team member at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, was one of four Sisters of Charity to receive the Elizabeth Seton Award in January 2001.
