For 3 days in September 2007, 38 people from across our six associations met to shake up our future! The result was to set in motion and create the agenda for an unprecedented gathering of our spiritual care family. At our first major meeting together, the SCC will usher in a new era for the field of spiritual care in North America. Drawing on our agreements to uphold common standards and to strengthen our influence with healthcare and the work of faith traditions, the SCC is hosting a mega-conference that will set the pace for our working relationship with each other as spiritual care professionals and our relationships with care responders from sister disciplines.
