Resources on Bernard Lonergan, SJ

As we prepare for our NACC National Conference in May of 2011, we encourage our members to begin to acquaint/reacquaint themselves with the work of Bernard Lonergan, SJ, whose transcendental imperatives are used to frame our theme of “Pathways to Healing: People and Communities”. One suggestion is an article “Searching for Bernard Lonergan: The Man Behind ‘Insight’” by Mary Ann Glendon from the October 1, 2007 edition of America Magazine. The article can be found at this link.

In February, the NACC conducted a two part audio conference series, “Bernard Lonergan and Pastoral Care: What Can He Offer Us” presented by Sr. Carla Mae Streeter, OP, Th.D. Materials for both audio sessions are available, by clicking the following links:
(session 1 materials)
