*Region XV, a new region created by vote of the bishops during their November 2006 meeting, will be constituted by the Eastern Rite bishops and eparchs of the United States. While functioning within their respective geographical Regions as well, they now will have a unique USCCB Region, affording them participation in numerous committees and councils, such as ours. As soon as the administrative work defining and establishing the Region has been accomplished, we will seek an Advisory Council member from Region XV.
